Here are a couple of cards that I did a few months back for birthdays and as I have 3 boys then mostly I am doing boys cards. 
Have you seen this style card before? Not sure of the name of it but something a bit different. Not difficult to make at all.
This card below speaks for itself really – a summer birthday – when the boys were playing cricket. These sets were very handy to have and keep.
A close up on some of the detail for you. The Silver background was using tin foil with the embossing folder.

Great to see what you have been up to outside stamp club. I never would have thought to use the everyday enchantment papers for male cards. It works really well here.
