See I did end up making this card into my sons birthday invites. They worked a treat and had the desired effect. Very easy to mass produce.
These were Mason favourite colours and he choose the cardstock. TFL

Last week my middle son Mason turned 5 and started school. On his last day of Kindergarten he give his teachers these gifts.
Hopefully they loved them as much as Mason enjoyed giving them. Mason loves giving and the joy on this face when he does it is priceless.

A while back there was a water colouring technique that was a bit of a hit. I never did get round to doing it but the other night I had the opportunity to give it a whirl and well as you can see I really need to practice a lot more. I have created a birthday card for mum, a birthday card for a 5 year old and a gift pocket. I don’t have time to recreate them so I have to go with this lot for now.

This months challenge was a limited supplies challenge. A circle, a piece of ribbon and a brad was the list to work from and this is the result from the very talented ladies…..

So there you have it. A great effort by all and some really fab cards.
Thanks for looking
It’s Ed’s birthday today, his real birthday and not the early celebration that he got away with. Us ‘kids’ and out families pitch in and brought the gift so a card and gift wallet was needed. I know that Ed has these already so I can put them on now. Ed lives in my home town of Napier.
So the card lets you know just how old Ed is today. Happy celebrating Ed, I know you will.

These were the thank you cards I made recently. This is a great little pattern and easy to create masses of these cards. These will be the invites that I will do for Mason’s party invites. Mason has picked the colours of blue and green so we shall see what happens with that.
Hopefully these cards will be liked. The pins are florist pins with little beads glued onto the ends. They are just the right size and I have a heap of them to play with.
Hope you like….

I put together a card and made a matching wallet for a little girl. I needed to send some bits and bobs so created this matching set. Then I needed a thank you card for a lovely lady who has been very supportive so I put together another card the same. Not colours that I would normally use but you have to challenge yourself every now and then.
A little bit of everything with distressing, tearing, sponging, masking and embossing involved with this creation. They should be at there destinations by now. Hope they like.

A boys birthday card, I really need to get more boy stamps cause I am seriously lacking and there are some really cool stamps out there. Just as well the circle of boys we run with are rugby players.
Yes the gift was All black branded, wouldn’t have it any other way.

So when your best friend moves house you have to give a card but she did a fab card when I moved so the pressure was on to be creative, what do you do. Stress, leave it to the last minute and see what happens. See for yourselves.
Ooh look, pink again and with that DSP. This card looked great IRL and really fun to play with.
Cherie
of course. This lady wouldn’t have any other colour, she is pink, pink, pink and a little bit of purple to contrast. The DSP on the card is her favourite; of course it is pink.
Of course the purple was chocolates, it’s not a party without chocolate. The bottle was not the one that went with the present, I had to stop on the way and buy just the right one well the next best course they didn’t have the one I really wanted. But typical of me, I left it to the last minute to organise.

Did you see these easel cards on Splitcoast? We did these last month for our club night. The ladies were ‘wowed’ by these cards and so easy to make.
These were fun and I know that some Christmas cards will be made in this style.

This is the first Christmas card that I have made and I have even given, now that is on to it, well for me anyway. This was for an Uncle and since he is heading bush and we did our celebration early this one I got out of the way. Wow, out of the way, makes it sound like a chore.
A couple of sets used here and very much stayed with the red and green theme of Christmas. I did throw this together as I walked out the door for tea, but it’s done.
