Crimped Cards

Hello Stampers

Last week (ok maybe the week before) I made 2 birthday cards for friends. I went with the Crimped envelope that showed on Splitcoast Stampers and attached it to a card. I made the envelopes with the envelope template, first I made one in whisper white and the next I used DSP. The DSP envelope crimped better but I preferred the whisper white envelope end result. In this attached photo you can just make out the DSP card in the background.

The top comes of the the top and I put in a card that said 'Best wishes' but you could put in a gift voucher or something similar, I attached to envelope to a tent style card. Once again I have mixed up all the stamp sets so there are plenty to name.

Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Live your dream, Botanical Blooms, Natural Beauty, short and sweet.
C/S: Rose Red, whisper white and Apricot Appeal
Ink: Rose red, Basic Black, versamark
Accessories: White embossing powder, clear embossing powder, heat and stick, Dazzling diamonds, gold brads, small oval punch, dimensionals, sponge and daubers, markers.

Mini Backpacks

Hi Stampers

Mini Backpacks were my next project and it pretty much took me the best part of 3 nights, they were fun to make if a little fiddly. So I made 9 with the idea to give away 8 but these were for Mason's last day of Daycare and he gave the lot away, even to the teachers who didn't teach him. He was so cute giving these out that I didn't have the heart to stop him so all 9 went. Really pleased now that I took the photo when I finished them. These are the mini backpacks and I got the details from Becky Roberts here. Mine were filled with chocolate of course.

Anyway this is my second post for the day and the projects that I have been working on during this past week. So I have caught you up, I need to be working on my Stamp Club projects but I'm making a few Birthday cards to keep in my stash. Everything all in good time.

TFL tonight

Wedding Package and more

Hello stampers

It has been a busy time and lots still to do. Anyway I have a couple of things to show you. We had a wedding last weekend and so a card was made but they wanted money instead of gifts (I really struggle with this request, I really dislike giving money for weddings). So then a money holder was needed but I wanted them separate so I had to come up with something to put them in. The money holder had to be made bigger to accommodate the size of the notes.

The complete package. Looks good IRL of course and it did the trick.
Stamp Sets: A happy heart, Taggers dozen, Polka Dot Punches, Define your Life, Sanded, Wonderful Favourites, Occasional Greetings, Love Owl-ways
C/S: Real Read, Confetti White, Vellum
Ink: Real Red
Accessories: Markers, Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Slit punch.

So that was that job done. On with the next...
Earlier in the week a friend of mine moved into her new house, it is quite a story but this lady is an amazing person, she has had to find alot of strenght and she has done well for herself. So I made this card to give to her. I know that she loves this Eastern Blooms set although not so much this stamp from it.

I love this quote from the set Live you dream, fitting for this card and this lovely lady.
