A couple of projects

Hello Stampers

Gosh I have been so busy and of course Easter was thrown into the mix as well. We went away for Easter and I had a great break although this week I don't feel that I have had a break at all.
This first project was a little gift for Tania's birthday, she received it about a week late. A little bag with a lip balm holder and a gift card.

This next project was a card from a class that I had with the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. I managed to come up with 4 cards using this one set in a day and cut the cardstock for 8 people, Boy that was a little bit stressful as I hadn't given myself any more time. This card also had to double as my M&M swap card. Once again time limited I threw together 5 more of these before breakfast course I was not organised at all. later on the same week I did a project day which was great. We made 4 projects which I will have to show you another day. At the moment I am trying to get 50 swap cards ready before tomorrow and once again I have left myself very little time. TFL today

Stamp Club Challenge

Hello Stampers

Wow a busy time at present, ok so we had our stamp club challenge and it was a colour challenge where I spun the wheel and came up with the following:
Only Orange, Mellow Moss, Garden Green and whisper White. The girls really raised to the occasion and this is what they came up with.
This card was created by Rebecca
This frog card was created by Jo
This is Leanne's creation
and Leanne created this one as well
This card created by Jodie
This card is created by Colleen
This card is created by Tania
This card created by Tamara
This card created by Cherie
This card is Tamara's second creation.
They did do a great job didn't they. What I love is how each persons style is so different. Hope you enjoyed viewing these creations.

And then there was more ...

Hello Stampers

So straight into it , this first project is what I made for my new catalogues, every catalogue I gave out I put in a card made with the new 'in' colours and a new level 2 hostess stamp set called Echoes of Kindness, a bookmark using the One of a Kind stamp set and then added a wish list and a copy of the corrections and add in's page. I even came up with a 'little ditty' for the inside of the card, for me that is big, huge in fact, can you tell that I'm really chuffed with myself.

So this next little project are these cute little baskets that I have seen everywhere so I made one using the new designer series paper which is called Good Morning Sunshine, oops just had to look up the name to confirm it, I haven't mesmerised all the new names yet.
So I put the little eggs in the basket for the photo and somehow they have reduced in volume, that always happens to me.
This next box is made from 1 piece of card stock, came across the tutorial for this when looking for something completely different on you tube, isn't that always the way and got totally side tracked with this project I forgot what I was looking for in the first place. This displays more of the new goodies from the catalogue that came in to play today.

So this Easter card I have put in cause I feel that it's coming up Easter and I need to blog something Easter and not just the chocolate that keeps going missing. Anyway this is a little pop up card that we did at Stamp club last month. I was able to borrow this cute we set from Tamara, thank you, and came up with is.

This last card was for Dan's birthday last week, I threw it together maybe an hour before we went out. I was inspired by the colours that Leanne used in her stamp club challenge, refer earlier blog entry, and pretty much went from there. I embossed the words in the middle and the rest pretty much explains itself, really basic for the amount of time that I had given myself. Dan happens to be Tamara's DH so I really made the card for her sake, as the card didn't have a race car on it, it didn't make the grade for this DH.
That is all I have for you this time, next week is stamp club again so should have a couple of projects to show you and the girls will have submitted their cards for the latest challenge.
Happy Stamping, TFL
