Stamp Club Project

Hello Stampers
Last Wednesday I had my stamp club, our first project was a pizza box with 3 cards, this was the second project. I was really happy with the final result and I think the girls liked it as well. It took a couple of goes to get the final product. I'm not sure what the name of this card is or who the original designer was but I know that Paula Goff made a Gift Card holder very similar to this design which I have based mine on.

Recipe:
Cardstock: Rose Red, Regal Rose, Whisper White
Ink: Rose Red, Regal Rose
Stamp: Embrace Life
Accessories: Slit Punch, Eyelets, Crop-a-dile, Taffeta Ribbon, Stapler, Dimensionals, Tombo Glue and Chunky Glitter
Happy Stamping and thanks for looking.

Abbys Invites

Hello Stampers

Sorry, it's been a busy time. We had a break and went to Katikati only to do a whole heap of manual labour, gee it was hot but stunning, I love the sun and the heat. Last week I had stamp club and a class so I have been stamping as well. My sister rang from Auckland last week wanting 12 invites done in a pink and purple butterfly theme, it's Abby's birthday at the end of next week so I have managed to fill the order. Not my usual style but hey you have to try these things don't you.

hopefully this will make a little girl happy. I have just finished the card as well, not great but fits with the invites. I had to borrow a couple of sets for the butterflies so there are at least 3 sets involved. Of course looks better IRL (in real life), Dazzling Diamonds tends to be like that.

Happy stamping and thanks for looking.

Happy New Year 2009

Wow 2009, hope it is a fab year for you all with plenty of stamping. Happy Birthday to Sharlene, my 2nd up, up line. The big 40 for you, enjoy it as it's great being 40 (oops, did I say that), check Sharlene's blog here, she has some great specials for today only. If you look back over the last couple of Sharlene's entries you will see Michelle (my Up line) and the goodies that she scored which is one of her favourites.

So today my eldest son asked for chocolate dipped strawberries so being the mum I am I have just finished making them and remembered that in an earlier Stamp Club we made strawberries so I had a hunt around and found one. These were really easy to make, to bad I didn't remember earlier as I could have made a Christmas table decoration with them. They are big enough to hold a small chocolate like a chocolate kiss. Sorry can't for the life of me remembered who shared the pattern but thank you for sharing.

Just to show you how yummy they look!
Sorry, not a great picture
So for afternoon tea we will enjoy these treats. I better go now as I am meant to be getting ready for my Stamp Club projects before I go away on Saturday. Don't forget that Sale-a-bration started today so if you are on my mailing list you should getting an email today sometime. That list of mine is no shorter and with it now 2009 how will I ever catch up. Have a fantastic year, hope you are able to spend time relaxing and enjoying life. Thanks for looking today.
