Watercolouring for fun

Hello Stampers

A few days ago I had a play with these cute images from the 'For father' set in the new mini. This set is lovely to watercolour, I used the aquabrush to apply the colour.

I'm really happy with the way these came out and look I even broke out and used some Hodgepodge. TFL today

Summer Mini Catalogue

Hello Stampers

Yesterday I finished introducing the new Summer Mini Catalogue from Stampin Up! by way of a catalogue launch. We made 5 projects playing with all the new toys which included 4 cards and a purpose made box filled with some treats. Lots of fun.

The card at the back using the new Eastern Blooms set was inspired by a card I had seen by Marelle. The top of the purpose made box was seen here by Amy .

So now on to the next lot of projects. TFL today.

Dress

Hello Stampers

I have been working on some projects for my catalogue launch on Wednesday night. I have 3 projects ready to go with another 2 in the pipe line. I'm looking forward to the new mini catalogue, so many lovely things to play with.

Here is another project I did back in August when the dress was the go. I found this style on Splitcoast and I did a number of different colour combos with it. It did bling up well. TFL

Happy Birthday Mason

Hello Stampers

My lovely little boy, Mason turns 4 tomorrow, he's so excited which is to be expected. We had a party for him at 'McDonalds' on Sunday evening, his choice I might add and he loved it. I did the invites as scroll cards and then the loot bags as Pirate faces, what a hit, well with the mums who just happened to be part of my stamp club. 'Ahoy Matey' is a great set for kiddies and I was thrill to come up with the faces all on my own. It was good fun having a play anyway. Sorry the photo hasn't come across to clearly but you get the idea right? Have a great night

After 10 days with 2 sick children you would think that I would have something to show you, wouldn't you! I don't, I am so behind in my list of things to do so I am very slowly trying to tick one thing of at a time. Here is the one card I did mange to do last week.

Stamp Sets: Petal Prints and Heartfelt thanks
Cardstock: Very vanilla and Sage Shadow
Ink: Black and Sage Shadow
Accessories: Hodgepodge, white taffeta ribbon coloured with sage shadow marker, SU Markers, distressing tool, Word window punch.
Hopefully I will get a bit of time later to load the swaps from Wednesday night Stamp club, enjoy your day.

Pictures from the past

Hello Stampers

What a fab day today, I have had over 100 hits in the short time that I have been up and running, thank you everyone for your lovely comments, I really feel blessed. This week has been stamp free due to 2 sick kids MM6 (Mere Male, aged 6) has been laid up for 4 days now were as MMnearly 2 just wants mum, love being wanted but unable to get anything done. I have had a quick look at some of my pics and picked a couple to show to you. The first card was one I made earlier this year for a first birthday, way to go Blair, anyway it was fun to make and the theme was tractor, did you guess that?.

These next ones were gift voucher holders and I really enjoyed making these, loads of love is a set that I have used often, maybe it's because there are more boys than girls in my life!

In the background is my work area, the kicthen bench, it gets into a real state at times and is never cleared, so please excuse the background of this picture, sorry I don't have photoshop to crop the picture but you get the idea anyway.

Have a great night and happy stamping.

Boots

Hello Stampers

Last stamp club we did the shoe but in the meantime I found a pattern for the boot. I think these look good and were just as much fun as the shoe. I use Berry Bliss DS paper from Stampin Up for the pink boot and Brocade Background DS paper from Stampin Up for the green one.

Today has been a lovely day here in New Plymouth and I also managed to prepare 2 of my stamp clubs projects as well so all in all a very good day for me.
